When you decide where you would like to order from, you can start adding products to your basket. You can then place your order, and a personal shopper will be assigned to your purchase.
Your personal shopper will keep in touch with you, letting you know of any updates to your order. You can also chat with them via the app, should any amendments need making.
You can track your personal shopper and delivery driver, helping you best know when they will arrive.
How Do I Use Instacart to Send a Gift?
Instead of setting your location to your own house, you need to put it in your friends’ location. This will allow you to see the different store options available to deliver to their address.
Then, add products to your basket the way you usually would.
Make sure you have filled out your friends’ contact details (phone number, name and address) accurately when checking out. Instacart will send them a text with delivery and tracking information.
If your gift contains alcohol, your friend must be able to provide an ID when the package is delivered.
